Conventions
e Values: Bore d1, outside diameter d2 (A, J) or d3 (V) and sheet thickness s1 (A, J) or s2 (V) at their nominals; each form's tooth count at its minimum, a single limit.
« Teeth: Equal teeth, evenly spaced, the first on +X. Slit roots on the circle midway between d11 and d2; teeth and V gaps take equal arcs on the tooth-end circle; sharp roots.
« Twist, forms A and J: Each tooth turned about its radial centre line, right hand, so the envelope height is h = 3 s1 (owner, #577), trimmed to the tooth-end circle.
« Cone, form V: Sheet s2 on a 90 degree cone (owner, #577), edges square to the face, the land half the slant, teeth not twisted.
« Edges, markings and finish: Teeth of forms A and J: a light edge break, a round of s1 / 4 on every tooth edge (house polish, owner #830); the land and form V sharp. No markings. Material and finish are metadata only: one model per size and form.
