Conventions
Illustrative rotor: Venturi bore s - (a - e)/2, s the smallest outside width (a, or w on the round frame), hub, four struts at the outlet face and swept blades, as the DC fans. Blades are illustrative, not any maker's design; frame, mounting holes and outline are from maker drawings.
« Frame sides: Open between two flanges k thick, one at each face; each hole runs through both. Where no drawing tolerances k, k is the house flange t/6 (to 0.1 mm, at least 1.5 mm), labelled (house).
« Mounting holes: Square frames: four through holes dh on a square of side e. Round frame: circle a cut by flats w apart, two holes dh e apart on the horizontal centreline.
« Values: Reconciled from two or more makers' drawings; where they differ on a, w or dh, the largest stated, so every maker's frame fits. dv is recorded, not modeled.
e Connection, labels: Lead wires or terminal tabs by model, neither modeled; no labels or arrows. Die-cast aluminium frame, drawn matte black. Intake at +Z, airflow toward -Z.
