Conventions
Illustrative housing: A spiral volute about the axis, its radius changing evenly between the sourced extremes (yo, a - xo, b - yo); the duct from the outlet face back to the axis; each hole in an ear 2-dh wide; all clipped to a x b.
« Walls and outlet: Walls t/12 everywhere, the four sides of the outlet opening too; the opening is what remains. Outlet opening is illustrative; check the maker's drawing before designing a duct.
e Inlet and impeller: Inlet 1.2 x min(a - xo, yo) on the axis until the makers' inlet diameter is in the data (#1025). Forward-curved blades (one per mm of inlet, 30 to 48), a back plate, a front ring and a hub of half the inlet with the CommunityCAD mark, light grey.
« Holes, edges, leads: Two plain through holes dh, diagonally opposite: hole 1 at x1, y1 from the axis on the straight-wall side, hole 2 at x2, y2 on the outlet side. Sharp edges; no labels, moulded arrows or lead wires.
¢ Values: a, b, t, xo, yo, x1, y1, x2, y2 and dh at their reconciled values from two or more makers' drawings (no published standard); within the makers' tolerance the most precise, then the lowest.
