Conventions e Sphere: One closed spherical face at the nominal ball diameter Dw of Table 1, one solid. Nothing else on a ball is dimensioned, and nothing else is modeled.
« Frame: The origin is at the ball's centre. A sphere has no axis, so Z is only the export's up direction. The bounding box is the cube Dw x Dw x Dw on the origin.
« Grade and gauge: Not modeled: one model for every grade (G3 to G200) and gauge. They're chosen when ordering; their limits are a few micrometres or less and change no model.
« Form and surface: A perfect sphere: no form error, waviness, roughness or surface defects. No edges, flats or chamfers (a ball has none). No markings.
