Conventions
e Envelope and frame: SFF-8201's form factor at its nominals: Al, A4 and Note 2's length; the maxima (A1 + A2, A4 + AS, A6) are printed, not modeled. Bottom face (datum X) at z = 0, the connector end toward +X, the width centred on Y, the connector toward -Y.
« Mounting holes: M3 side and bottom holes at every height (the bottom holes are optional at A1 <= 7 mm, modeled), blind, full thread to A38 / A41, then a 118° drill point at the tap drill. Simplified: plain bores at D, thread in the metadata.
« Lead-in: SFF-8201 section 3 requires a lead-in and gives one example, a dl countersink at al: the model uses that example at every hole.
e Connector: SFF-8223 Option 1: a block cw x ch on datum B's centreline, its centre cz up, its face cx past the end; the keep - out under it open to datum C. No blades, key or latch recesses (an envelope, no ECAD).
« House look: Illustrative. Rounded outside edges; a label recess in the top with a black label and the CommunityCAD mark; the connector running on behind datum C; clear anodised aluminium. No cover screws, breather hole, PCB or maker text.
