Conventions
e Rings and corners: Bore d, outside diameter D and width B at their nominals; the rings concentric, their faces flush. The eight ring corners are
quarter-rounds of r_s min, the smallest the standard allows; the shape isn't specified.
« Ring faces: Each ring's face is (D - d)/8 wide; the annulus between them is the middle half of the radial section.
« Shield and seal (2Z, 2RS): A flat annulus recessed r_s min / 2 below the ring faces, the same for both: no groove, snap wire or lip.
« Open bearing: The annulus recessed B/4 per face, leaving a solid web between the rings. Balls, cage and raceways are not modeled.
« Values: d, D and B at their nominals; r at r_s min, the only limit the sources give.
« Markings and grades: No markings. Tolerance class, internal clearance and lubricant are not geometry: one model per bearing and product.
