Lengths L Basis Makers state Makers Part key 10 house length (owner, #438) 10, 9.525, 10.16 2 iso1222-1-4-20x10
Under-head length 10 mm: ISO 1222 gives none, so this library's house length is the whole millimetre the makers' own stated lengths round to (Kupo 10 mm, Really Right Stuff 9.525 and 10.16 mm). They agree near it, not exactly.
Conventions
« Edition and threads: ISO 1222:2010 from its complete free preview (ADR 0059). The threads are the standard's own Tables 1 and 2, not UNC 1A/1B, at their band midpoints (else the basic). Simplified level: the thread a plain cylinder at d.
e Thread end (Figure 1 b): The thread runs b from the end face, the chamfer included; the end is chamfered from d to an end face of d1 over z. b and zare single limits, modeled at the limit. Above the thread the shank is the plain neck.
« Head, slot and hex socket: Round head 2.2 d across and 0.6 d high, its top edge rounded 0.15 k; a straight slot 0.16 d wide and k/2 deep along X; a hex socket 0.5 d across flats in the slot's centre, a corner on +X, its floor k/4 below the slot floor.
« D-ring and captive neck: A fold- down D-ring of 0.12 d wire, folded flat on the head over -X, a second solid; its pivot is not modeled. A plain neck of 0.9 d1 under the head keeps the screw captive in a plate's tapped hole.
« Lengths, markings, material: One under-head length L per size, a house length the owner chose (#438): ISO 1222 gives none, so L is the whole mm every maker's stated length rounds to (Kupo, Really Right Stuff): near agreement, not one maker's exact figure. No markings. Stainless steel, chrome-plated ring: render material only.
