Conventions
+ Where makers differ: The largest stated gearbox length, can length, shaft length and bosses, so a mount or enclosure made to the model clears every maker's motor; the shaft and its flat are exact. Each maker's value is on the page. Motraxx's longer can is drawn on a 9 mm box only, so the 12.5 mm box's can is the other makers' (#1372, left at the defaults; each size's page gives both lengths).
« Gearbox and gears: Brass-coloured front, middle and rear plates with rounded corners on four corner spacers, the tapped holes in sleeves behind the front plate, two flush cross-head screws in the face's corners, and an untoothed steel gear stack in the gaps. Illustrative, not any maker's design, checked for fit only.
« Can, end cap and terminals: The can's flats at the gearbox's height, two slots in each flat; a black nylon end cap carrying the rear boss; two tinned solder tabs at the terminal spacing, a red polarity dot beside the + tab and the CommunityCAD mark in the end cap. Illustrative.
e Holes and shaft: Tapped holes as plain bores at the thread's nominal diameter, 1.5 x that deep; the D flat over most of the shaft past the boss; chamfers on the shaft's end and the boss's edge. Illustrative.

« This size's can is 15 mm. Motraxx's 15.1 mm can is drawn on its 9 mm box only, so the 12.5 mm box's can is 15 mm, though the motor behind both boxes is the same. Left at the defaults of the open decision (#1372); check your own motor's can if it matters.
