Conventions
« Illustrative rings: n flat round rings in one plane, centred on the axis, centrelines at radii i-p (i = 1..n), p = (D - dring)/2n; n the fewest that keep the clear gap p - dring at or under the 6.35 mm plug gauge the makers cite (UL 1/4 in). The innermost is the centre ring. Wire layout illustrative, not any maker's design; hole pattern, outside diameter, height and wire sizes from maker drawings.
« Ribs and wire planes: Four ribs on the diagonals, one per eyelet, from the centre ring out to the outer ring, then down to the eyelet, each bend round (radius one rib wire). The rings lie on top with their tops at h; each rib's top is on the rings' centre plane.
« Eyelets: Four flat round loops of the rib wire drib, inside diameter dh, their axes on a square of side e, lying on the mounting face (Z = 0). The loop shape is illustrative.
« Values: e and dh at their reconciled values from two or more makers' drawings (no published standard); D, h and the wire sizes the largest any maker states where they differ, so the model covers each maker's guard.
e Not modeled, finish: No side clips, weld beads, wire serrations, domed profile or markings. One solid, bright chrome; mounting face (against the fan) at Z = 0, ring tops at Z = h.
